U.S. Customer Returns and Exchanges:

We will offer free shipping on orders of USD $100 or more. Orders below USD $100 will be charged a standard USD $9.99 flat shipping rate for standard shipping Excludes: Alaska , Puerto Rico, & Hawaii. Please note that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, processing times may be longer and carrier services, such as USPS, are experiencing worldwide shipping delays. Especially for holiday shopping, we encourage our customers to place orders as early as possible to avoid being impacted by these delays brought on by USPS shipping carrier which are out of 1822 Denim’s control. 

 

How long will it take for my order to ship and when can I expect it?

Typically our warehouse processing time is 2-4 business days (excluding weekends & holidays). Orders placed on Friday, Saturday & Sunday or a holiday will not be processed until the next business day. Please note that once the carrier picks up shipments from our warehouse it is the carrier service’s responsibility to deliver packages in a timely manner. 1822 Denim is not responsible for any shipping delays.

 

I placed my order and paid for two-day delivery, why hasn't my order shipped yet?

Orders with expedited shipping charges are still subject to the same processing times as orders with standard shipping – 2-4 business days. Expedited shipping only guarantees the amount of time the carrier takes to deliver the package once the order has been processed. 1822 Denim is not responsible for delayed expedited packages once the package has left our facility and cannot refund any shipping charges once the package has shipped.

 

I placed an order but changed my mind, how do I cancel it?

1822 Denim can only honor cancellations within 24 hours of an order being placed. 

 

I just realized my order is shipping to the incorrect address, how do I fix it?

Please contact the carrier service directly to correct a delivery address. 1822 Denim cannot adjust the address of packages in transit and is not responsible for orders that ship with an incorrect address provided by the customer.  Please be sure to double check the delivery address provided for shipping to avoid any issues. 1822 Denim cannot refund orders delivered to the incorrect address as provided by the customer. Orders delivered back to our warehouse due to insufficient address provided by the customer will be refunded minus a $10 fee. 

 

How will I know when my order has shipped?

You will be notified via e-mail once your order has shipped. Please allow 24-48 hours for the shipment tracking to update on the carrier's tracking site.

 

The tracking on my order has suddenly stopped moving and hasn’t been delivered - what is going on?

To confirm the status of an order already in transit please contact USPS or the carrier you selected at checkout. We recommend that you sign up for tracking alerts directly with the courier delivering your package for the most up-to-date information on your shipment. 1822 Denim is not responsible for packages once they have been shipped. 

 

My item was marked as delivered but, I never received it. 

We're sorry to hear you haven't received your shipment. Please check in with a neighbor, roommate, your property or your building management to retrieve your package. 1822 Denim is not responsible for the loss of a package marked delivered by the courier.

 

I am an international customer, how much is shipping to my country?

International shipping charges are calculated at checkout. International customers are solely responsible for any customs, duties, and taxes that may occur with the import. To learn more about international shipping, please visit our International Shipping page.

1822 Denim not responsible for any shipment that is not delivered. By purchasing from 1822 Denim you are agreeing to these terms and hereby forfeit any right to dispute any shipment that has been delayed, lost, stolen, or non-deliverable due to natural causes or has been miss-delivered.

Shipping fees and times are determined by your location. Does 1822 Denim ship to me?

1822 Denim ships internationally using DHL and UPS International. Your destination country will determine the shipping method and shipping prices. We do our best to get you the best shipping rates, but shipping rates are determined by the shipping services and not 1822 Denim. All International shipments will be shipped out within 2-4 business days and come with a tracking number so you can track your purchases.

 

My tracking has stopped updating what’s going on?

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, global shipments are facing delays worldwide. We suggest keeping an eye on the tracking number and signing up for tracking alerts. Sometimes package tracking stops moving in the US because your package has arrived in your home country. We suggest tracking the package through your selected shipping carrier service to avoid confusion. Shipments aren’t considered lost until after 20 business days have passed since the last tracking status update due to the longer shipping times for international packages worldwide. 

 

Customs won't release my package without fees being paid, who is responsible?

Customs charges, duties and fees are not included in the product or shipping price of 1822 Denim items. International shipments may be subject to additional fees determined by customs in the delivery country. 1822 Denim is not responsible for any additional fees or customs charges.

 

How do I return an international shipment?

1822 Denim accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days. International shipments are not eligible for pre-paid return labels or free exchanges. All international customers may return items within 30 days at their expense. International customers must retain their tracking numbers to confirm delivery to 1822 Denim. 1822 Denim will not refund or accept exchanges and returns on orders sent back outside of the 30 day return window. International orders should be returned to this address with a copy of the invoice enclosed.
