Our easy return policy guidelines are as follows:
- The return and exchange policy described below applies only to ONLINE Purchases made through www.1822denim.com Any 1822 Denim merchandise purchased at independent boutiques and department stores must be returned to the location where purchased. Please contact the individual boutique or store for their return policy.
- Final Sales: All sales of Gift Cards, E-Gift Certificates, and items marked as “Final Sale” are final sale items and cannot be returned for exchange, credit or refunds.
- To be eligible for an exchange, credit or refund the merchandise must be returned unworn with original tags intact and accompanied by the return form or copy of invoice and customs documents (if applicable). We’ll gladly accept merchandise that is unworn, unwashed, and free of any damages.
- Returns are accepted within 30 days from order date.
- Defective items received must be communicated via email or by phone with our customer service agents.

U.S. Customer Return
We are pleased to offer free returns and exchange for all domestic U.S orders.
Only one free exchange/return per order. For example, if you exchange for another pair and that size doesn't fit you either, the shipping cost for a second exchange is then paid by the customer.
Option 1: Return or exchange an item with our prepaid return service
To begin your return, please click “Make A Return” button on this page and follow the instructions. You will receive an email with a prepaid return label. Attached the label to your parcel and drop off at any of the USPS drop off points.
Option 2: Return or exchange an item on your own
You can also send the item back to us at the address below using any other trackable method, at your expense.

Please allow 2 to 3 weeks from the return ship date for your refund to be processed and account credited. We’ll send you a return notification email to notify you once the return has been completed. Only original form of payment can be refunded at this time.
Returning Items Purchased As A Gift

International Customer Returns

BOGO Promotion Refund
When purchasing items as part of a Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotion, the promotional discount is based on the lowest priced item, then applied to each item proportionately. If you choose to return any of the items, your refund will be reduced to the discounted amount for each item.
Here are some examples:
- Buy One, Get One Free: If your first qualifying item is $60 and your second qualifying item is $40, the $60 item will be discounted by $24 and the $40 item will be discounted by $16, which gives a total discount of $40. If either item is returned, the return value will be equal to the original purchase price reduced by its prorated discount.
- Buy One, Get One 50% Off: If your first qualifying item is $60 and your second qualifying item is $40, the $60 item will be discounted by $12 and the $40 item will be discounted by $8, which gives a total discount of $20. If either item is returned, the return value will be equal to the original purchase price reduced by its prorated discount.
